Second of two special samples taken to investigate water quality during an intense rain event.
10mm fell between 15.45 and 17.00 with peak rain rates of 140mm/hr.
Results from the two readings show very high ammonium and high phosphate associated with the initial surge of stormwater (16.28). These levels fell back close to background in this reading at 18.18. Very high turbidity (from silt load from bank erosion) and very low DO persisted for the entire monitoring period, however.
