After a very dry Autumn I had expected there to be a salt pan, the same as in February, however there was a shallow sheet of water across the central part of the lake. This was possibly following the rainfall the day before. There were two black and white birds which I could not identify, there was a flock of finches or similar, also not identified. There were black cockatoos outside Beeac but not actually at the lake. The weather was alternating cloudy/sunny and there was a moderate breeze. Temperature about 15C.
