Evidence Creek level had been higher recently, by about 50 cm. Possibly the decent overnight rain 2 days ago.
Site is a bit smelly, like recently exposed mud.
Cool weather for time of year. No wind. Water is still.
PH meter seems not to be working, unstable readings. Due to crack in plastic sample cup?
