Coordinator, Julia, decided we should not analyse for Phos and ammonia in future because of the persistent discolouration of the water. The water had a thin frothy surface film and was weakly yellowish. It was noticed, and had been noticed previously, but not reported, that when the water is left standing the intensity of the discolouration seems to slowly increase. This seems to be caused by growth of algae in the sample bottle. Julia currently researching inot nutrient testing to be conducted by Ecowise
