The test area is within 3m downstream from a culvert (northern one). This is one of 2 under Coach Rd.

One downstream landowner expressed concern about the amount of silt coming through the culverts and ongoing erosion of the southern side of the stream immediately downstream of the southern culvert.. A thick layer of silt was evident at this visit, along with his attempts to reduce erosion - installation of rock to the wall of the creek and a planting of Photinia which appears to be a planting for privacy rather than erosion control.
