Despe repeated attempts, we could not successfully calibrate the EC meter. This is the second time that this has failed us and we believe it is in need of replacement. Tash could you provide Peter Bray with a new meter at the Bendigo Awards Ceremony? Although we could not calibrate we nevertheless tested the sample and obtained a result of 100 which is average for the site.
It is worth noting that our pH reading of 4.0 was well outside the normal range. The meter calibrated successfully and we repeated the finding so had to accept it as correct.
