For some reason I could not get a DO reading. I tried the test twice but when the starch indicator was added the solution didn't turn blue. Not sure what I did wrong?? The water sample was not a good one as it was taken closer to the edge of the laKe amongst reeds and algae. Due to the high water level I was unable to get out any further. I am guessing that the water may have been clearer out in the centre. The reactive phosphorus reading may also be inaccurate as it was difficult to get a reading due to the dark colour of the water.
