This rock pool usually sampled was very shallow and showed little invertebrate life.
In comparison, an upper pool in the cascade series much cleaner with abundant macro-invertebrates. Phys chem at upper pool in better condition: DO 7.1mg/l, 67% DO sat, water temp 12degC, EC 2600µS, pH 8.4, turb 6.13 NTU
