Hi, The cattle are back drinking from the sample pool. The old willow trunk (around one metre diameter) has been burnt and the remains collapsing beside the pool. I sampled the temperature in the stream and when taking the DO reading the temp. rose to 14 degrees. The DO meter was slow to initialise and slow to settle on a reading. For the first time the Phosphorous reading was jumping around, from -minus 0.1 to 0.13, gradually settling around the final figure. It varied 0.08, 0.09, 0.10, 0.11, 0.12 varying up and down several times. There was nothing obvious in the sample. cheers, Terry
